Campers will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on experiences to learn more about their community!


Activities include:


  • Field trip to Local Farm/Nursery
    • Picking fruits & vegetables
    • Learning how food grows
    • Learning how to cook nutritious snacks

  • Visit from OC Sheriff's Department
    • Exploring police vehicles and equipment
    • Learning how police officers keeps us safe
    ​• Introduction to emergency preparedness and first aid

  • Field trip to OC Animal Care
    • Creating enrichment toys for shelter cats
    • Interacting with rescue animals
    • Learning how to care for pets

  • Visit from OC Fire Authority
    • Fire safety demonstrations
    • Exploring fire trucks and equipment

  • Field trip to Pretend City
    • Learning how a community works together
    • Learning about being an active participant in the community
